We are licensed care facilities for the elderly, for both ambulatory and non-ambulatory individuals. Our homes are located in the heart of Albany, within walking distance to the international shops of downtown Solano Avenue.

Raksha Care Homes is a non-medical facility which employs certified caregivers, as well as nursing assistants, and has a 24-hour awake staff. Our team consists of highly qualified individuals who strive to provide the best possible assistance and support to our residents. We promote a positive approach in supporting seniors’ lifestyle.

We are trained to work with seniors experiencing physical limitations and challenges due to an illness or injury. Our team has been carefully selected to provide the highest quality of care and assistance.

At Raksha, we strive to maximize each resident’s quality of life and functional ability through the evaluation of physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs. We customize a care plan which is revised according to each resident’s changing needs, interests, and level of help, thus giving maximum independence and choice to our residents. We work with case managers, physical, occupational, and speech therapists in order to provide the best approach for care. Level of care is determined after pre-placement is complete.
