Imagine a place with people who are caring, ready to hold your hand, protect and assist. You need not say a word, but just a look,a gesture or an expression on your face and they know instantly what you need.
In August 2001, my mom had a hemorrhagic stroke leaving her with dementia, unable to speak, confining her to a wheelchair. She was very confused, depressed and hopeless. We, as her family wanted to provide a place for her care.
Our loved ones are our treasures and our parents hold a place in our hearts in a very special way.
When they get old and sick, we all have the desire to give them comfort and care as they have done for us when we were children. We all wish to provide them this kind of care but sometimes this is impossible due to our own responsibilities.
Our facility is called Family Choice Senior Care. My mom, our first resident, and us, invite your loved ones to share our goal, that is, to provide a home where all their physical needs are met unconditionally, providing companionship so they may feel secure, loved and never alone. They will always feel safe knowning someone nearby is ready to help and assist, ready to hold their hand whether they are feeling sad or lonely or ill.
