Located in the town of El Dorado, this is a six bed facility with a home-like atmosphere. All rooms are private rooms. The site is located in a quiet neighborhood. It also features a large backyard patio with a flat circular walking path.
About Us
Apple Country Care Homes are owner operated since 1996. We are located in the scenic Sierra Foothills, in El Dorado Country. We are a residential assistaed living facility. Our facilities provide 24-hour care and a warm and friendly home environment. All our homes are located rually.

To encourage independence, preserve dignity, and provide a high quality of life for our aging loved ones, while striving to provide peace of mind to their families through our commitment and dedication of the service of providing 24-hour care.

Our Quality Care
Personal Care:
•24-hour care and supervision
•Assistance with showers and personal grooming needs
•Supervision and administration of medications
•Available beautician for hair care and nail care needs
Health Care:
•Daily observation and documentation of resident's health status
•Ongoing communication with residents' family and MD
•Bedside care for temporary illness
•Hospice care for terminal illness
•Visiting podiatrist on regular basis for complete foot care (Medicare billing)
•In home lab work arranged when necessary
•Arranged transportation to and from medical appointments
•RN reviews with staff and MD Resident's Health Status Report
•Daily exercise programs tailored for the individual
•We offer Music nd Pet Therapy
Facilities:
All our homes are licensed through the state of California
We have three locations to assist our Elderly: Camino, Placerville, and Eldorado.
We are licensed for locked perimeters
We are able to take non-ambulatory clients
We are able to take Residents with catheters or insulin dependency
We are qualified for Hospice and end-of-life care
We operate with 3 shifts daily and the overnight shift is awake
We have 2 Administrators per home
Amenities include:
•Private or semi-private rooms
•Spacious bedrooms
•Laundry service with fresh linen changed weekly or as necessary
•All our homes are completely furnished and extremely clean
•Medication management by Registered Nurse
•Daily activity programs with stretching exercises
•Planned or arranged transportation to Doctor, Lab or Dentist
•All facilities are minutes away from Marshall Hospital
•All three homes are landscaped beautifully with shady areas to sit and walking garde paths for leisure walks or exercise
•All three homes are located in quiet neighborhoods
•Planned menus (available to view) with three nutritious meals and snacks provided daily. (Special diets as prescribed by physician)
•TV outlets in most rooms
•Fire alarms & smoke detectors (sprinklers @ Camino Home)
•Pets are welcome to visit
